I am considering enabling guest posting on all forums, as this makes it even easier for someone to post in the Forum. If I do turn it on, however, and people abuse this forum, then I will turn guest posting off and "force" everyone to register if they want to post. What do y'all think about this?

I think that if people want the privlege of posting here, they should have to register. It's one way to keep our member count rising. Also, every time I'm on this forum, the guests ALWAYS outnumber the registered users. It would be nice if this wasn't true. _________________ Music IS Life

Good point.
However, if you think about it, who really cares about registered users? I think that if guest posting was enabled, then it would be even easier for people to post and share their ideas and opinions on something we all love-the saxophone. I mean, isn't that the whole reason we come to this forum? It would probably boost discussion.
I'll just wait and see how the polls do before I make my final decision. _________________

I suppose, but guests can basically do anything they want. You can't moderate guests. _________________ Music IS Life

On second thought maybe it'd be best to keep guest posting turned off. _________________

As my vote reflects, I agree with altosax4ever. It's too dangerous to allow random people post.
