Hi everyone,
I am basically an adult beginner on the Alto sax. I played very briefly about 16 years ago, but was too young to practice and give it a real go. Thought I'd dust off the case and get it out again.
I will be playing on an old vintage Dolnet. Serial number 57521 J. I have no idea about it at all, except that it was second hand in 1961 when it came into my family. If anyone knows about them, please let me know?
I hope it's not going to be like trying to learn how to drive in a Model T Ford?! My first lesson is tomorrow, so hopefully the teacher can help me out with this one?
Cheers,
MPH.

| Shouldn't be too hard; it's a fairly straightforward instrument. |

Welcome to the forum! I hope things went well for the first lesson. Good luck on your quest to become another Cannonball Adderly! (alto guy).
