I recently bought a Kessler Custom Deluxe red brass alto. I got one of the 'oddballs' from their first run: mine has what appears to be a copper bow and bell. The one pictured on the Kessler website here is actually the one I bought.

I took it to a saxophone instructor/technician at the local university to have it set up. He was very impressed with it's build quality and intonation.

I've had it for about 4 weeks now, and I'm still getting used to playing alto, after many years as strictly a tenor player. But the horn plays very well, and is beautifully made and finished.

Note the engraving. This is the only difference between the Custom Deluxe and the Custom models.
