I started studying music when I was 10, on a Bell Clarinet made of bakelite. Over the years I have also played the Organ, Banjo, Guitar, Penny whistle, harmonica, Hammered and Moutain Dulcimers. The one thing these have in common is that I played them all equally badly. One day I tried an Alto sax and almost all the rest of the instruments where forever forgotten. Today I Play t the Alto and clarinet. With the sax being my first love. My birthday is in November and I think I will buy a soprano sax and surprise myself with it. I will be 70. Cool

Yes I still have 2 penny whistles. One in the key of C and the other in D. The most inexspensive musical instrument to buy and the most plentyful. Every music store in the world carries them. There is a lady just north of me in Canada that makes custom whistles at $135.00 each. They are beautiful. At the store you can buy one for $6.00. Not nearly as pretty, but it plays just as good as the most exspensive that there is. Go figure. In the show "River Dance" there is an Irish musician that plays a Bb whistle. Takes skill to play that one. He plays a standard commercial whistle that sell for just under $16.00. Made by Clarke and I believe the model is the Sweetone.Cool

Welcome! We're always glad to have more multi-instrumentalists on this forum.
