I think there may be a couple other threads on this subject somewhere, but I'm too lazy to check. :p
I use normal Vandoren reeds with a Selmer S80 mouthpiece for nonjazz; Hemke reeds with a metal Selmer C** for jazz. |

Rico Jazz Select 3, French filed, or
VanDoren ZZ 3 on Otto Link 8* Rubber
And no. I can't say I can tell a difference between filed and unfiled. The quality of the cane seems to be more critical. |
