i'm looking to expand my collection and invest in a Sop- found one @ used shop for $450. Does anyone/has anyone heard of an "Orlando," US made?

Never heard of it. I'd probably aim for a Yanagisawa soprano by default.

played a seriously nice Rampone & Cazzalle soprano recently, lovely warm tone to it. Fell in love, looked in wallet... alas our love was never to be!! Smile

Don't disqualify Antigua sopranos 'till you try them.
I play an Antigua alto, and have heard that the Antigua sops rival those of the big 4.
Just... jumping to conclusions, maybe, but I would run from that soprano in the used store. American made horns these days are mainly anything but super, and I've never heard the slightest peep about any "Orlando" horns.

Oh...it sounded like someone had punned Antigua and you were replying, yet I didn't see anything mentioned to Antigua prior to your statement...so...Confused...yea
