Tough call on Sugal pieces, you buying or already bought?
Here are my observations :
Sugal charges too much for his pieces, they do not resell for close to his retail price. Apparently if you order the piece from him they are better then what he sells on ebay ... whats up with that? The price you can buy them from him on ebay is close to what you can resell them for. Beware he charges a surcharge on ebay sales . I just sold a 8* hard rubber piece of his to a player who loved it, play tested it a week before buying. Not a bad piece., better then a new link for not much more.
A lot of players slag him for the quality of his finish. He likes thick rails and tips, pieces can be very fat ... some have complained of the reeds not fitting the table and the rails extending beyond the reed. I have seen this, it can be ackward in your mouth.

I also know a few players who tear it up on his pieces, I know a guy who plays one on a Mark VI , I thought he was on a Guardala. Another pal uses one on a 10M and he just rips. I played a JB1 on my III for almost a year it had a huge sound, this piece was finished almost like a guardala., still have it I think I paid $150.00 for it, still have it ... a keeper. Another player I know uses one on his Y62 tenor and he sounds very warm, you would think he was playing rubber.

It may work it may not ...it is a mouthpiece it ain't magic.
