hi!Hi,
I just want to say hello...
I play alto saxophone, I've been playing for 2-3 years. I also play the flute, this is my sixth year. I'm doing Grade 6 AMEB for both instruments.
One more thing...I'm trying to learn to play the clarinet...
I suppose that's all...I don't know what to say but I just wanted to introduce myself!

Hi there!
I have been doin clarinet for a year so if you need any tips or tricks just holler...I'm no expert but hey, I was once a beginner and I had to go through a learning process and I could probably just give ya a few tips and tricks....great to have ya and ttyl!

I find it really hard switching from below the break to above...
And I squeak a lot.
Also, how come the forum changed colour when I logged in just then? Everything is different?

I prefer the other skin, CMel, but anywho,
LOL, I hade the same problems, the break just takes work and one thing to remember...try to keep your fingers as close to the main keys as possible then when you put down your other fingers just put down your pinky for B. The squeaking will go away with time as it is most often caused by not putting your fingers on the keys all the way. You'll get there...I guarantee it
