Huh??

I was looking at some information about Yanagisawas on there website, and have you ever noticed that all Yani models are very similar to each other, with only minor additions to each new model? I really don't understand why Yani has to produce so many similar top range models. Confused??:

It's actually worse than that . . .

Yani has a history of "evolving" their models during production, so that even some of the most characteristic features of a model may be missing on some of their production. For instance, the double-arm bell keys are signature features of the 880's . . . right? Yeah, usually. But I've seen an 880 without them.

But still . . . they make one heck of a sax.

I just purchased a T-5 and, as I've been checking out pics i've noticed there some characturistics of the 880. The serial number indicates this is a late production(1974), although T-5's production ended in 1971. Not sure of the discrepencies neverthless the sax is awesome.
