Introducing MyselfHi fellow saxos
Greetings from beautiful Cape Town.
I am 9months into the soprano sax. My First and only instrument-what a joy.
Being a pastor I enjoy playing the hymns and some modern chorusses. Needless to say I still have much to learn. I'm very grateful for forums like this since a great deal of my instruction is from sites like that of Alister Ingram etc, Sax on the Web etc.
I'd welcome any advice. I enjoy Grover Washington Jnr, Getz and some local saxos, Steve Dyer.
Resources are few and far between where I stay.
I have a Kinstar sop Bb. Tip-bell (half-curved).
I'm married and 35 years old, no kids (yet)
