LA SAXCan anyone tell me is there any truth to the LA Sax 750-850 being made in Taiwan? I thought they were produced in the US.and are the 750-850 models the SG signature lines? Thanks |

LA saxmy LA Sax 850 was purchased from WWBW in 2004......and was an excellent horn - definitely assembled in the US.....don't know if parts were made in Taiwan though........ |

I know that all the LA SAX with a six numberserial number come from the new compagny. Anything with only 5 numbers was made in taiwan. They build them here in the states now, but are some pieces made in taiwan that i don't know. They probably still have a few components that are. But they are still very good horns anyways. If you actually have any questions you can allways call them, i have they are very nice, small compagny. I think they go under "Opus Music" you can find it when you go http://lasax.com/
This is true for the pro models, i think that maybe the student series still is made in taiwan, but not sure of that fact. |

The number of digits has nothing to do with the year of manufacture. Prior to the introduction of the 650/750/850 series, the serial numbers were pretty much random. With the introduction of the new series, they became sequential. |
