My Yani ElimonaI just got my Yani Elimona in yesterday, and it is the best alto sax I've ever had the pleasure of playing. It plays perfectly from top to bottom, with a rich, full sound. And the good thing is that it only cost $765!

Cool. Never tried the vintage Yani's (not very common, as far as i can tell), but i've heard they play great. Congrats and good luck with your new horn!!!

Thanks. I don't really consider my Yanagisawa too vintage, because it has most of the modern keywork and it was made in 1980.

You're sax is vintage in my books, CMel.

I have an Elimona soprano and it is marked S990 and the SN indicates that it was made in 1992.
