What happened to Brownie's low Eb key? Shocked
Bariman

I was wondering if someone would notice. Razz

Actually, I removed it to have it copied to create an identical one for my other Conn Series 1, which is lacking the key. And yes, the guard broke off completely about a month ago, have yet to solder it back on.

Here's a shot of mine from a while back:

It's on the living room sofa. :D
You can kind of make out the remote in the background, too.

that's my 1909 Holton Tenor...the poor lighting did the perfectly intact silver finish no justice though Sad take my word for it, it's really shiny!

my nice alto has no good pictures though Sad neither do any of my other instruments either
JPSaxMan

Nice tenor!
Bariman

Very nice. I had a holton c-mel once in silver plate...

thanks Very Happy

now if only I could play it like I can play the other saxes..I have no problem going from alto to bari, but going from alto to tenor is just something I can't grasp... The old key work doesn't help any because I can't play my full range
kirbay

i have a black and gold jupiter sax... that's all ghettoed up (it's the schools =P ) the paint on the neck was like scraped off and they things behind one of the plopping parts is like detached and ripped. lol =( i'll try and ask my uncle to take a picture of it ^_^

I have an old Selmer New York bari that was a Conn stincil and looks exactly like Brownie. except it is silver plated with a gold wash inside the bell. I still play it on jobs, and it plays great. I miss the high E key.
