breathy soundhey guys, ive been playing sax for a couple of yars now. We just moved and I havn't played my sax in about 3 months, I just icked it up and played it, but the tone seems reathy or raspy, I use a vandoren java 3 for a reed, could it be my embouchure? Did I wet the reed too much? Did I wet the reed not enough? thanks guys!

EmbrochureDefinitely sounds like your embrochure, my friend. A firmer grasp of the mouthpiece would definitely help. Also, if it's an old reed, it could produce that sound as well...
Good luck fixing that all too common problem.
