My Conn Precision alto piece fares fairly well in both. Then again I think I put more effort in controlling it in a classical setting.

Rubber Links are great for classical and jazz, IMO.

Yea, I use my Rubber otto link for both classical & jazz and it fares pretty well but it is more suited for jazz. My friend who's a tenor uses a metal link for both classical and jazz because he says it gives him the range and the high tone for classical and the edge for jazz.
