OK, we're attracting some people, but how do we get thse people to join? It's useless for me to keep attracting people here if we don't have a good enough forum to make the guests want to join.

To get more people to join you could try and get a higher ranking on a search page...(don't ask me how)

Or put more links around the place - like from other people's web pages.

I found this page by searching for saxophone forum and then I think I found a link to here.

You can actually pay money to google, altavista, yahoo, etc. to get a higher ranking in their search engine, provided that the correct search term is entered. It doesn't have to be in the site text, either -- it can simply be hidden in the source code. So, Dave, if you wanted to, you could simply bribe a search engine to give you better recognition. Weird, eh? Confused

i find it's a great forum.
i was looking for a saxophone forum on google and i was looking and i saw a few but i found that this one was the best.
and i think it is going quiet well because nearly every day there is a new member.
