I'm new here, but not to the sax.....Greeting all....
What can I say about myself?
Well, I'm 35 yrs old, married, no kids....
I began playing the sax at the age of 8 yrs old. Started on the alto, went to bari (the horn was bigger than me at the time....I was about 10 or 11 when I started playing, and had to sit on 3 books to play! LOL), and then the love of my life, the tenor, which I have been playing ever since.
Over the years, I have kept occupied musically by playing the drums, percussion, bass (a little bit), guitar (still trying to get a grasp of it), and organ/piano/keyboard. I have written a lot of songs and co-copyrighted about 18 songs on the keyboard, but I'm now trying to put sax to the music.
What else can I tell you about me?!?!?...hmmmm
I am originally from Northwest Indiana, but now live in Maryland (since 1994)
Have played EVERY instrument in the band, with the exception of the clarinet and flute....I've tried, but just couldn't play them....
I can't think of anything else to say....LOL
