I'm from New York and playing mostly jazz now. I play a Series III alto, a Yanigisawa curved 901 soprano, and I'll be making a foray into the market for a vintage tenor this summer. On alto I use a C* for classical and for now a Meyer 7 jazz. I'm looking at getting a metal mouthpiece for alto right now and just have to find the right one. On Soprano I use an unmarked rubber mouthpiece that one of my former teachers had. I have no idea what it is, but I do love it. If anyone sees a nice vintage tenor in the $2500 range, let me know.
