What other music do you like to listen to?

What other music do you like to listen to besides band music? I like hip-hop, some rap, and one hit wonders.
JPSaxMan

I usually listen to a bit of everything including; Oldies, Alternative, Soft Rock, some Rap and Hard Rock, Ska-Punk, etc
Bleeding_Gums_Murphy

Classic Rock mostly (don't dig most of the new stuff). Pink Floyd (I've got Dark Side of the Moon playing right now), Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Rolling Stones, ACDC, Guns 'n Roses, Queen.
Bleeding_Gums_Murphy

Oops, forgot the Beatles.
JazZz

I mainly listen to jazz, but when that's not playing I usually listen to the cheesy 80's synth stuff and a lot of the 80's rock. I listen to some of the new popular rock, but I like the older rock because modern stuff doesn't have the same feel.

I have a very wide range of musical tastes. Other than band music, I've been known to listen to orchestral, jazz, alternative rock, classic rock, and funk. I can only really tolerate a few alternative rock bands (for example, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Jet) - the others are basically no talent hacks, IMO.
dcanfield

Eminem, System Of A Down. These is my favorite artist and band.
Pinkdots

I listen to a lot of jazz, classical, new age ,70s r pretty good too, so is music that was made around WW2. I dont listen to a lot of rock. All of my friends hate my music and try to get me to listen to hard rock etc.... lol
Tully

I listen primarily to jazz and classical, as those are the genres I perform, but I also listen to some classic rock/oldies, funk, and various alternative bands (Radiohead as we speak), and occasional 80's, metal, grunge, etc.
legomaniac853

I listen to remixed vid game music on Overclocked remix, and vid game music in general. just about anything orchestral.

be careful in the forums, though. You go there and start making random posts you will get burned. I learned the hard way. You have to lurk those forums before you even think about joining them and posting. no guest function, you have to join to post. genres include everything from jazz and orchestral to trance and techno. There are some good sax pieces, though almost all of it is electronic. Only about three people make the songs from real intruments. You have to hunt for the specific song styles you want to listen to.
