rubber pads

on the net i saw this article about rubber pads. are these good?

Could you post a link? Rubber is such a generic word. Nowadays they have all kinds of teflons and such that are between rubber and fabric.

My marching sax has rubber pads..it's more like little rubber discs with plastic resonators. It's the rubber you have in items like shoe padding.

A.Their not better, just waterproof so their good for marching
B. Cheap as anything

To sum it up, if you're looking for a cheap fix to a problem, rubber is the way to go.
