Vandoren JavaAnyone ver played a Vandoren Java? Would you recommend it? Are they bright, loud, and projecting? The reason I'm asking this is because I found one for tenor for $25 and I'm thinking about buying it, but I want to know other people's opinions first.

I have played a Jumbo Java for tenor. I liked the tone alot, but decided to stick with my Meyer, my Meyer just works for me. I just love the tone.

I'd recommend that you go with the Jumbo Java. I've tried one before. It is very powerful. It's also pretty versatile. It can play pretty smooth, but it can also be nice, and loud, projecting and very edgy.
