What do we need to add?

What do we need to add to distance ourselves from SOTW, and get more people to join?

There are only about 2% of the people that I would want to put distance between at SOTW Twisted Evil but those 2% make it very obvious that beginners and their "boring" questions are NOT welcome. It makes it uncomfortable to say the least Embarassed
So to get to the point of this question, maybe patience ,understanding and direction for beginners or late bloomers.
I need to reiterate that I have learned so much just from SOTW and I don't mean to put them down as a whole group, it's just those certain few that I believe will be much happier to lose the "redundant" questions.
Thanks

I agree. I think we should welcome beginneres, and always answer their questions, and not be rude about answering their questions.

One thing that's bugging me is your obsession with SOTW.

It seems that all your decisions are based upon what SOTW is like. Ya need to get rid of that mind-set. Otherwise you're just going to be a copy-cat trying to make it big. Not to be mean, crude, rude, or anything else, but SOTW needs to be SOTW...not at all involved here.
CMelodyMan

I'm not obsessed with SOTW, I just look up to them because they were one of the pioneeers of saxophone forums, and I think they're set-up is great. I'm not trying to make it big, I just want this forum to be a little more active.

But SOTW is what it is. Yes, a great place. But you need to make your forum your own, not something like SOTW. Sad
CMelodyMan

I know that, that is why I am trying to personalize my forum and distance itform other saxophone forums.

I've got a suggestion

What about songs? links to free sheet music, a forum open to links... or do you have that I just missed it?
CMelodyMan

Okay, I made a Links category. Under that category is sax website links. Inside that are some free sheet music website links.
Kaipo

thanks man

Ah man, thanks, you did that really fast, appreciate it
