What do you do with your reeds?I was wondering what everyone does with their reeds when they are done playing. Like put them in a reed case, keep them on the mouthpiece, etc.
I rotate through 2-3 reeds. When I use the first reed, it stays on the mouthpiece all the time until I take it off to clean out the mouthpiece at weeks end. When I take the reeds off the mouthpiece, I put them in my Alexandar tin.
I don't like the reed cases that much, they contort the reeds too much.

I rotate 4 reeds, in a LaVoz Reedguard. I'll play a reed one day, when I'm done, put it back into the reed guard, and the next day I'll play the next reed.
I don't find that the La Voz guards contort it, but they do keep it from warping, and they work very well for the price.
I've heard that the Vandoren reed cases promote mold.

I rotate between 6-10 reeds at a time, using La Voz reed holders.

I usually don't rotate reeds (due to lack of reeds to rotate ), but if I feel one is getting too much work, I'll switch it out with another one
