I think there may be a couple other threads on this subject somewhere, but I'm too lazy to check. :p
I use normal Vandoren reeds with a Selmer S80 mouthpiece for nonjazz; Hemke reeds with a metal Selmer C** for jazz.

Question- have you found any difference between the filed and unfiled? I tried both and couldn't feel/hear any difference between the two, or was that just me?

Rico Jazz Select 3, French filed, or
VanDoren ZZ 3 on Otto Link 8* Rubber
And no. I can't say I can tell a difference between filed and unfiled. The quality of the cane seems to be more critical.

Alto
Vandoren regular 3.5's for classical, and Vandoren ZZ 2.5's for jazz.
Bari, Soprano
Don't play them much anymore, but when I do, I just use Legere studio cut reeds. I used one of those reeds for an entire year in band, and while it doesn't sound quite as good as cane, it saves you a pile of money!
