No offense, and I'm not exactly sure how long you've been playing, but you need to build up some chops. Might wanna check out some threads on how, but keep using the 'ooo' embouchure...in practice, if ya have to perform and if you don't have the 'ooo' good enough, go back to the old one. When I had learned the new one, it was about two weeks before the concert and when I tried holding out a note on the second nite I knew it, my tone/chops started to give and I thought...crap, I guess I'm not gonna be able to do that at the concert. But to my avail, I indeed was able to meet standards for the concert.

Thanks for the comment JP. I guess in my current state, I could still use my "o" embouchure as a form of torture. Very Happy

I haven't even played for 2 years, so maybe its too early for the "o".
