Valley Sax: I know this is a little late to the draw, but if you plan a trip to the Outer Banks, spend some time on Ocracoke island. Beautiful place, very small town, hardly any outside influence. I go there every summer and rent a house for a week- good times. If you do make it down, definetly stop by the Jolly Roger on the harbor side of town. Best burgers on the banks I swear, not to mention the view at sunset...

Howard's pub down the street has some pretty good food too, but the Roger has a live performing band about 3 days outa the week.

The Outer Banks are beautiful; especially more towards Cape Hatteras. The area has been developed, but the beaches have been left un-touched! Ocracoke is an awesome place to visit, but it looks like a hellish place to live (especially in the winter).
