Nothing... I don't really want one, honestly. I really want to stick with the horn I've got now, for sentimental reasons.

I thought that was 'What would Jesus do for a Klondike Bar?'

"What would Jesus do for a Borgani?" haha

Yea, If Borgani where that good more people would be playing them and they'd be getting more press. I'd try one, but until then I wouldn't make any promises as to what I would to.

The reason more people don't play them is because they're $5000+ Shocked . Also, Borgani only makes about 130 a year, so they're kind of rare.

Well, I currently own a Borgani Soprano Sax that I actually bought in a music store for $700 this past Christmas....

I seem to have lucked up when it comes to my saxophones, because Chuck Levin's (anyone on the East Coast knows of this retailer) was shocked Shocked when I brought my Tenor in there (A Buescher 400)....they have yet to see my soprano...I'm thinking of taking it by there on Saturday to see what they have to say....

It is a sweet horn, but I need a more modern horn, since mine was made in 1964.... Cool

I've heard that the earlier Borganis (pre 1975) aren't nearly as good as the Borganis they make today, although I'd like to hear your opinion, Prophetic Sax. Do you think that your Borg soprano plays as well, if not better than many modern-day pro horns(Yanis, Yamis, Selmers, other Borgs, etc)?

Honestly, I love my horn and I get beautiful sounds out of it. I know it took me a while to track down the information on the horn. I had someone from Italy actually tell me that their record system was pretty outdated. I had to actually come on a forum to find out exactly when it was manufactured. I will admit, that it does have it's limitations (f# spatula key), since it is an older horn, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

I plan to get a more modern horn. Any suggestions? I'm thinking about either a Yamaha or Musica....

Anyone else have any suggestions?
