Well it depends on the sax's color, if its gold wear something like black, if its silver wear where something like medium-dark blue. but deffinetly wear a suit, thats been my experience anyways _________________ Jason Hamilton

I would lean heavily toward the Reisio school of learning for most of my playing, which is very casual, but I good suit is always nice to have around for those pesky annoying classical gigs.

reminds me of the old story from stefan grappeli of having to play a gig at a nudist's party... (in heavy french accebny) "for the guitar player this is not too bad, for the drummer this is not too bad, for the bassist- this is not too bad, but me, I play the violin... this is very bad indeed!"
Actually i must say on the subject of stage duds- putting a suit on, even for a rock gig (ok- suit, hawaian shirt & Sneakers fro them) does kind of get you in the mood, its become a bit of ritual for me to get "in character".. especialy seeing as with my old day job I was covered in plaster and paint most of the time so it sort of shifted me into muso mode.... _________________ "Cease this infernal tootling!"
