Whats the single most hardest song you've ever played/learned or currently learning.

For me, it has to be Braziliera BY FAR! The whole thing is basically 16th notes, and it also has many 32nd notes thrown in with added grace notes. I still can't get it right after about a month of trying. Here's a clip of it.

So whats your hardest song?

I would say the hardest piece I'm playing currently is Largo and Allegro for Tenor sax and Piano by Pietro Boni. I have the rhythm and notes, but I have to pick the speed up a whole lot in the middle section. When I was at a recital ( I did flute for that) this guy played L&A and he played it real fast but even he was nowhere near the right tempo. I'm a freshman in highschool and I plan to do it for IHSSMA Solo and Ensembleas a Group One piece.Best of luck to you all and your difficult pieces :D

Oh my god. Look at this piece. Its actually been recorded also. http://fuwatm.hp.infoseek.co.jp/f...nglish_country_tune002_choice.mp3

This is supposed to be one of the "easier" pieces.

And get a load of this http://www.opusclavicembalisticum.blogspot.com/
This song is supposed to be the hardest song in exsistence. 4 hours long.

The single hardest piece I've ever played?

I'd have to say that movements I. and V. from Tableax de Provence are the hardest pieces I've ever played. Movement V. is five pages long, and 99% of the time, you're playing sixteenth-notes nonstop. Shocked Oh, and it's in E major (concert G), and there are accidentals all over the place. I've only gotten through the first two pages. When (and if) I learn it, I hope to use this as part of my university audition next year *shudders*. Movement I. is pretty much the same thing, except it's in 6/8. If you have trouble reading double sharps, then this would definitely be a challenge for you!

And, HOLY CRAP! I can believe it's the hardest piece ever written just by looking at it! OMG!
