When you play bari, do you play to the side or in thwe middle. This may seem knida weird, but I play alto, C melody, tenor, and bari in the middle, not to the side.

I play alto in the middle, tenor to the side and bari to the side...on my old Bundy Selmer I would on occasion rest the bow on the tops of my shoes to relieve some pressure Laughing

My teacher told me that all the curved saxophones lower than soprano should sit off to the right side. This is because of the way the keys are arranged - the sax is meant to be offset a little. Of course, the smaller saxophones (soprano, sopranino, soprillo), being small and all, should be held in the middle. This is what I also do. I've played alto, tenor, and bari, and I hold them all off to the side.

Bari definetly goes to the side with me. Only on occasion, when standing, will I swing it to the front.
