Have you ever noticed a difference a big difference in sound between a modern and vintage saxophone? The reason that I'm asking this, is because when I got my modern Yani, it's sound was so much more powerful than my 1922 King Voll-True.

Most of the American made horns during the 30's, 40's, 50's, and the other vintages up till the 80's like Mark VI's, VII's, and I guess your Elimona were more powerful than the horns of the 20's! _________________ JP

| Depends on the brand. Some vintage horns SCREAM and others don't, ya know. And some new horns SCREAM and others don't. |

Tell that to my bari. He's 85 years old, and can show any modern baritone a thing or two.

Correct. Conns of this time were 'on a roll', and had many inovations that other manufacturers hadn't even thought of yet. The only thing lacking was the limitation of only high Eb.
