I started on alto and played only it for four years, then I decided to move on to a bari, played that for a year before I picked up tenor, and have been doing the alto for seven, the bari for four, and the tenor for three _________________ JP

Started on alto, been playing for 4 years. I've played bari and tenor in Honor Band and HJB, and I own a C melody. _________________

After playing trumpet for half a year in grade seven , I switched to alto sax. I've been playing it since then for five years and counting. _________________ Thomas Hay

I've been playing alto for six years, I've played tenor for two, but If I was going to pick my favorite, alto would reign supreme! _________________ Music IS Life

Started on alto when I was about 14 (middle of 8th grade). When I was 16 (sophomore in high school) I switched to tenor, and have been playing it ever since (so about 3 years now I guess). A month or so ago I added soprano to the mix.
I don't play much alto anymore, though. When I do, it's classical. Tenor is my main instrument, which I use primarily for jazz.
Btw, check out the link in my sig if you want to hear a couple clips of my playing. _________________ Audio clips in link below-

First tenor, then soprano, followed by alto. Played flute before anything, though. _________________ My sound clips. |
