Hi all,
My name is Michael, A.K.A. saxismyaxe. I belong to most of the other sax related forums so I'm sure some of us have met before.
What can I say, I love to play, collect, and restore Saxophones among many other interests.
I'm glad to see there are more choices forum wise for us to enjoy, and thanks!

Thanks for the warm welcome CMELODYMAN! You wouldn't happen to be Paul Coates would you? I noticed that you are in Louisianna. Cheers.

Hi Dave and JP,
Sorry about the misidentification, but I had to ask. I like the layout of your forum very much.
JP, not to sound like a broken record to those who know me, but I have been collecting horns for a very long time, so I have been lucky to aquire a LOT of horns. I have 37, from sopronino to Bass. I am covered up with them, and to say it is an addiction (sickness really) is an understatement. It would be bad enough with just that collection, but I collect a NUMBER of other items of personal interest as well. Embarassed

I meant more like alto, tenor...which type is your axe? Which one would you take with you on a trip to Mars? Laughing

Check "out the how many saxes do you own" thread under general sax talk. Please list the saxes you have. I JUST HAVE GOT TO SEE THIS  . You probably beat out Doc for the most number of saxes on this forum!

Hi JP,
I see where you're coming from. I am primarily a Tenorman at heart, relate most closely to, and consider that, my primary axe. I love all of them though, and each has it's own voice and charactor. I'd hate to be forced to chose.
CMelodyman,
I'll head over there and do that.
Cheers.

Hey thanks Bariman,
it was your post on the Sax on the Web forum that brought me here. Your posts always contain sound information, and I usually agree with them, so I knew this forum had to be a good one. Cheers.

Thanks for the compliment! I hoped someone saw that. I was hoping to get some big shots from SOTW over here to post, and from what I see, it's off to a good start!
