This year will start my eighth year on saxophone. I started in fifth grade on alto, but switched over to bari in seventh grade. I played bari in jazz band for three years, starting on my fourth. I played tenor in jazz my freshman year, but went back to bari during sophomore year. I've marched with it, and I'm a section leader for our saxophone section. I'm now in the top jazz band at our school, and have devoted my entire senior year to music classes or gen ed classes at the college.
Aside from saxophone, I play bass guitar and dabble on keyboard. I write some songs on my keyboard, and the bass is something I picked up to get a better understanding of music.
Aside from music, I'm a big Star Wars fan, and I enjoy eating Taco Bell.

You sound like me, except this year I will have seven years. So you must be a senior? Nice

Actually, our school mascot is the Buffaloes, and since I'm the lead bari player there, that's where I chose my name. But thanks for already abbreviating it. Most people don't do that on forums until I've been on for a while. _________________ NEW SAXOPHONE!!!

I'm thinking either a Selmer or yamaha, maybe a yani, but I doubt it. I see a lot of S-80's at schools these days.

Normally I play on a Yamaha YBS-52, but since it's being cleaned, I'm on an older Conn model. Although I also have a line on a used Yani "Martin" that's being restored to almost new condition for 2000. _________________ NEW SAXOPHONE!!!
