It's nice to stumble across another sax forum. This one has lots of personality. In reading about some of the other members, it's apparent that I'm one of the old folks - pretty soon I can get the senior discount at Denny's!
Actually, I enjoy reading posts from young people - it makes me feel younger myself.
As for me, I'm a woodwinds doubler and I play in musicals pit orchestras, swing big bands, symphony orchestras, and church gigs. I play in my spare time (not a full-time player). I divide my music obsession fairly equally between clarinet (my first instrument), sax, flute, and most recently recorders.

Yes, we are indeed glad to have you here.
Most of us are young, and having a true cat around really makes things interesting. Sometimes us young whippersnappers need an experienced player to chime in on things

Oh wow Joel, thanks man. I'll start paying more attention! I've got some free time for it now. For a while there I was visiting and trying to post in 6 forums a day.
Thanks again,

I got 5 forums to frequent daily, it's called priorities ...mine first, this one second, Selmer Sax Corner third, Saxophone Forum fourth, then SoTW if any of my topics are replied to. Then Sax Quest if I get any notifications.
Sorry to get off topic _________________ JP
