I love my selmer MKVI tenor. One thing you should know about 6's is that they aren't all good - some blow very poorly. Every one is different, so take your time if you're considering buying and try a few. Also, get a tech to check the pads - you might think that the horn sucks but it could just be air leaks.
Anyways, I can't even imagine playing another horn. I've tried many, but I am a hard core selmer fan!

Join the club Cam! I'm gonna end up getting two Paris horns within the next couple of years; a black lacquer Series III alto and a Series III silver soprano. Sounds good to me :D _________________ JP
