Model: YBS-52
SATB: Baritone
Finish: Gold lacquer
Mouthpieces and why you play them: Selmer Paris C*- that's what our band director buys for the jazz bands, and I like it
Reed: Normally a La Voz Medium Hard, although I'm starting on a Hemke 4
Sound Concepts/music styl played: Primarily jazz, concert music, pep band stuff, marching band stuff
Comments: I know it's only an intermediate level sax, but I love playing on it. It's what I've considered buying more than even a pro model
Age: Not sure, but at least 4 years. Probably between 7 and 8 _________________ NEW SAXOPHONE!!!

| My YBS is an older horn--SN# 0025xx. Repadded with Music Medic Roo Pads(domed seamless resos). Mouthpiece : Lawton SS 6*BB with Bari* Med reeds. This is my big band setup-use Lawton goldplate 6*B for darker sound for quartet etc. YBS is a great playing bari! Stronger, more projection than Selmer 80. Keywork feels like my YTS-875 so easy to change horns. |

Model: YAS-62
SATB: Alto
Finish: Lacquer
Mouthpieces and why you play them: Selmer C* ... my teacher told me to... but looking for a new one.
Reed: Vandoren 3s
Sound Concepts/music style played: mixture. Classical/jazz
Comments: First sax that I've actually owned. I've become quite attached to it. Others were rented.
Age: second-hand when I got it, so could be anywhere from 10-20+ years old, I think. |

Model: 875 EX
SATB: Alto
Finish: Clear lacquer
Mouthpieces and why you play them: C*, with vandoren optimum. Good for classical.
Reed: 3 1/2 Vandoren Blue Box
Sound Concepts/music style played: Warm sound, but can be bright if used correctly. I use it for classical mostly, though I love jazz.
Comments: I like the Z better, but my teacher forced this on me
Age: 2
I thought I already posted this, like, a year ago. Oh well...
