Not trying to sound stupid or anything, but could someone answer this question for me....

When you get a "factory sealed" horn, what exactly does that mean? and what are the pros and cons of that?!?!

I have finally narrowed my decision to the following 2 horns....
Keilwerth SX90R "Shadow" or Yamaha YTS 875....

2 shops here in Maryland say that there is a 5-6 month wait to get the "Shadow" in, but I did find a site that does have it, and they can ship it to me "factory sealed"....

Someone please help me out....if they don't have it, then I will be going for the 875

I would go for the 875, but...

"Factory sealed" means the horn has wrapping and the pads are sealed shut with cork. If it's not factory sealed it's either been play-tested or it has been once played.

It also means you will want to take it to your favorite tech to have it adjusted. When you buy from a dealer like Dave Kessler, you get a horn that has been play tested and adjusted already.
