WOW!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked And I thought I played a lot of instruments! I play the clarinet, alto sax, and french horn. You might be wondering where the french horn came from, it was a spur of the moment thing. lol At my school I play the most instruments out of everyone. I get called a one man band all the time, but i guess you got me on that one. Good job.

That sounds interesting. I think I've heard of that before. It's some kind of primitive, tribal flute. Is it really played through the nose? Shocked

For the one I have, you blow air through your nose and it exits from one opening over your mouth, which you use to control pitch.

Aside from the saxophones (alto, tenor, soprano), I play piano and a little on clarinet.

Play A-T-S-B saxes-double on clarinet- play trumpet/cornet/flugle with College jazz band

Trmpt and sax/clarinet use almost same airstream technique-focus-velocity for tone projection etc

I am an older (1941 vintage )player and this was very common when I grew up-small town in Maine-only a few available chairs to be filled etc-so played both brass and sax to improve selection choices!

I palyed clarinet for the first time today (much easier than I thought, actually--the embouchure felt pretty comfortable after an hour or so, and the break is definitely awkward, but not as bad as I thought it would be). I guess I'll be adding clarinet to my repertoire...
