i'm selling a saxophone soon, as my friend on sax on the web (altosaxophonerules too) is helping me sell this sax too. How much should i expect for it?
Well, it's fairly new, 1 yr old, some scartches, no dents. ( post pics soon) and has a toothmark on the mpc. the pads are fine. case, neckstrap and cleaning kit included. How much should i be expecting for it?

Well personally I've never heard of the brand. I try to stay away from cheap Asian horns. I'm not saying that yours is, it's just that I've never heard of the brand before, and it just sounds like a cheaply made sax. This is purely speculation, however. One picture says a thousand words, so posting pictures will help it sell . Also, describe how it plays. is there any particular reason why you are selling it?
Good Luck!

Since I've never heard of "Fujiyama" brand saxes, probably $1000 and lower. Who knows, though, maybe it's a prestigious brand somewhere and I'm just unworldly.
You could probably hustle someone into paying much more if you were so inclined, but buying such a sax would not be something I would do. Suitable student model saxophones would be much cheaper and new (and well-known) pro model saxophones can be had for (considering the price range) not that much more. |

The Fujiyama horns are cheap Chinese horns and IMO, I wouldn't ask anymore than $500...sorry to burst the bubble but for any more, I could get a brand new Kessler Custom, Antigua Winds, or some other horn better than a Fujiyama. $500 or lower...sorry to put a riff in the wave _________________ JP

You'll prolly get that, but be careful. The online world is tricky.
www.saxquest.com
has some good places where you can sell. Try that. _________________ Music IS Life
