Or you could just transcribe it yourself...

If you need the original song, PM me and I can send it to you via e-mail Cool

PS, the solo is on tenor, and I'm not sure if you're on alto or tenor (your avatar is sort of deceiving Laughing).

Yes, the part Tully provided is David Sanborn's solo in the song. It does go up to altissimo. One thing to keep in mind, G and Sanborn switched around keys in this song. In the original song, the alto had a Bb in it's key signature and tenor had a Bb and Eb. Note the tenor only has the Bb and alto has nothing. Keep this in mind when you're doing your solo. Nothing worse than ignoring the key signature.

Tull, do they have the half of Kenny G's solo? I'd like to see that Mr. Green

That's all I found, but you can browse around saxshed.com and see if I missed something.

I just realized, however, that Kym must be looking for the original Average White Band version (with Molly Duncan on tenor), not the Sanborn/Kenny G cover . Unfortunately, I have no idea where to find that, but the tenor solo is not too complex at all, and would be pretty easy to transcribe, especially if you can slow it down on your computer.

Is that the version they did with Tower of Power? Is that that the soloist in the original or did somebody screw up and Tower of Power was never involved? Confused??:

Tower of Power was in no way involved in the original recording. They have never even recorded that song at all, as far as I know. Malcolm "Molly" Duncan is the tenor player in Average White Band, so yes, he's the soloist in the original.
