I'm an amateur repairman, but from my experiences of what has happened to me at concerts at school and stuff the simple repair supplies below would be very handy. Here are some repair supplies that I would strongly recommend all serious musicians to carry in their case at all times:

1. A leak light. If a leak springs up on a gig, you'll have your leak light ready.

2. Sheet cork. Use sheet cork for re-corking necks, and for key corks.

3. Stick shellac. Not a permanent solution, but can hold a pad in until the gig's done.

4. Key oil. A little oil on a post goes a long way in making your sax play better.

5. Toothpicks. Use toothpicks to apply key oil to the posts and screws on your sax.

6. Mini-screwdriver set. If a key falls off, or you have to remove a key because of something, you'll have your screwdrivers there to help you.

7. Rubberbands. Use rubberbands to hold down your octave key if it's bent and for other things.

Anybody have anything else they would like to add?

You might also want to have a few extra pads of various sizes handy.

Just the thought of something going wrong at a gig makes my stomach turn! Sad :x

Just get one of those handy dandy emergency kits from WWBW. I have to get one soon, or should anyway! Cool

How much does cork sheet cost and does it come as one sheet or a pack of so many sheets? Just wondering because I need to recork my clarinet but save up for an oboe at the same time.
