How many vintage companies are now owned by Selmer? I looked on the selmer site, and on the links to subsidiaries, there is

King
Conn
Bach
Emerson
Artley
LeBlanc
Yanagisawa!!!
Armstrong

AND MORE!

what's going on?

Under the marketing schemes of George Bundy, Selmer eventually bought out all these companies, slapping their names on them. This all started back in the 60's and is still happening today. Shocked

Not kidding. That's why Buescher still isn't business today, nor is "Conn" or The Martin, etc. But Selmer USA bought out all the companies you listed.
