What is your fav selmer horn EVER? BESIDES the Mark VI.
No bashing of selmer on this thread please.
Mine has to be the Serie II, as it's the best horn I've ever played. Thoughts?

| As being played the Mark VI, I would say I liked the Reference 54 alto more. Reference 54! |

What other ones have you played? Do you play jazz or nonjazz more? |

Both, and I've played all the Yamaha pro models, all the Selmer pro's and a few vintage. Actually, the serie III is becoming more and more my fav. Gotta love that vented C#! _________________ Music IS Life

To date the two pro Selmer horns I have played are a Super Action 80 and a Mark VII (today). Both IMO were very stuffy...I was tempted to ask the one alto if I could try his Serie II, but I just didn't. I would have prefered my own LaVoix over the two Paris horns to be honest. _________________ JP
