Pennsylvania District 9 tryouts are tomorrow. I'm pretty beat from practicing my tenor solo (Hungarian Dance No.1), so beat that I'm trying to practice it tonite and I dunno if it's my tongue or what, but my 16th runs are starting to become double tongued, I just must be tired and I still have like two or three rough spots that the judges most likely won't like and they're worrying me, but otherwise articulation, vibrato, and musicality is at 100%...I have faith and I guess we'll see what happens

Well I did not ace the audition.
I came seventh among eleven tenors. Kind of disenheartening...then again I choked and I beat who I thought would be considered competition. So that's good I guess.
But believe it or not there's still hope. Although they only take four, the top two doubled on alto and most likely will go to alto. So that leaves two gaps that will move me up to #5 and as first alternate. If somebody bums out or just can't make it, I'm in. Odds of that are not in my favor, but still possible.
I guess there's always next year _________________ JP

Sorry about that man, you'll get em next year! Question - why didn't you just bring your gun? That would have 'eliminated' the competition! _________________ Music IS Life
