I'm 17, and although I've studied classical flute for several years, I started studying jazz and the saxophone about a year ago. I've had lessons on-and-off, probably about four months' worth altogether. This clip is me playing Summertime with the Aebersold backing on soprano. This was the first and only take:

Feedback welcomed.

Two more:

Groovitis from Aebersold no. 5 (a book of contemporary jazz/rock originals).

Corcovado from Aebersold's Bossa Nova book. Sorry the head is so sloppy, but I didn't notice how bad it is until after I listened to it, at which point I didn't have time to redo it.

Okay, all you greats, take it easy on me-- I've been away from my sax for about 15 years, just getting back into it. I've never taken music lessons, I was in band in HS-- the rest of what you hear is just what I can do left to my own devices! Hope you like them...

Some classical? http://www.myfilestash.com/userfiles/dianna/me.mp3
Currently 14, only played for two years and I have no teacher. My mic is pretty crappy and I just kinda got lazy at the end.

Here's a live recording from District jazz that I raved about so much:

This is a funk tune called "LeGrande Funk". I'm the last soloist at about 3:30. I only had one "Dukoff chirp" so to say, so ya'll can go hang me Very Happy

Just listen to how tight us saxes were (remember, typical jazz format, alto 1, alto 2, tenor 1 ME, tenor 2, bari) Cool
