Anyone able to identify what model Yanagasawa alto sax I have from the serial number 00155664 or direct me to a web site that will help? The manufacturers site is no help nor is there an e-mail link to contact them. A Google search has not thrown up a helpful site other than >http://dancipsax.com/iserialyanagasawasax.html< from which I have identified it as manufactured in 1989.

Look on the backside of the horn before the bow...with your serial# there should be something like Axxxx or Axxx. Whatever the numbers are will help us help you _________________ JP

| There are no other identifying marks/numbers on my sax apart from the serial number and the hand engraved Yanagisawa company logo. Anyone know if the Japanese language company site contains more than the English language version? |

It might, including a serial# chart...maybe there's a Japanese to English option on the site as their is the French to English option on the Selmer Paris site. Good luck _________________ JP
