How did you guys do? Make out like bandits? Get coal? ...is your x-mas break fun so far? I'm actually typing this (and have typed a lot of messages so far) on my new Dell Dimension E510 that's loaded. I got an RCA Lyra MP3 player (better than an iPod...utilizes flash memory as opposed to a hard drive memory in the iPod's), a 26" vertical pullman (I'll be going to Boston in the spring), a wirless interface to hook up my new computer and the old (JP studio ) computer, a bathrobe, a pair of LLBean shoemocs (I guess that's what'd you call them ), a pair of long underwear (long story), and a can of caramel popcorn.
I think made out pretty good , but of course x-mas isn't about all the things ya get. My mom was pleased with the things I got her (mostly clothes)...then dad and I tried to set up an entertainment center he bought her for $90 at Wal-Mart...we're making do with it but God forbid you touch it...it'll sway to one side then the other . My brother who came in from Charlotte, NC was a present in itself, but he liked the stuff we got him (a set of $400 knives, a real leather-bomber jacket which he has to exchange b/c the L was to small for him, a bunch of other stuff too).
So my Christmas was...splendid. How about you?

My Christmas was pretty good this year, the only thing was I had some kind of allergic reaction and broke out in hives at about 10:00 PM on xmas eve, and they came back at about 11:00 AM xmas morning. So I was a little itchy/burny all day.
On the other hand, I got $30 worth of gift cards for the iTunes music store, and a $30 dollar gift card to Borders. (for more Jazz cds) I also got a digital camera (I'll be posting some pics of my horns soon) and a bunch of accessories for it, and some clothes, candy, etc... Oh yea, and in-ear headphones and and iTrip for my iPod. My Christmas was very busy, I had to go to parties/family gatherings on the 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 26th, and am planning on a busy New Years. We (my family) gave my Mom new skis and a new snowboard, and we gave my Dad a GPS (for hunting) and satellite radio.
Cheers,

Mine was good. I didn't go to any parties. I just got the same stuff I always get for Christmas, (clothes, candy, etc.) I also got something really great, a Dukoff Super Power Chamber! Now if I only had a decent alto to go along with it. |

I didn't get much for hanukah, but I did get a $30 dollar gift card for borders which i spent on jazz cd's, and a few cards to iTunes, which i didn't spend on jazz (surprisingly). |

the iPod nano and shuffle both use flash, the video uses harddrive though. It all depends on how much size you want. I love my iPod but the Lyra is pretty nifty, my friend has it and she's like run a car over it and it still works, it's indisructable! |

I got several Macy's gift cards to buy a new wardrobe when I lose all my weight (I had gastric bypass in November, so that's actually GOING to happen this year). I got a really nice big Beatles book that details all their concerts, TV, movie, Radio appearances from 1957 - the end,
And...
I got the big 5 CD set called "The Big Horn: History of the Honkin' and Screamin' Saxophone"
It's absolutely awesome. _________________ Visit me!

On the subject of iPods, I just bought a 30GB video to replace my mini. My mini didn't nearly hold all my music (3,000+ Jazz songs). It only held about 500...The video is amazing. _________________ Louis Scuderi
