|
|
This is the industry standard, but by no means the only great sax. In fact, I've played on a few crap-tastic MK VI's and they can be very temperamental and inconsistent in response from one to another. That said, I love my horn and wouldn't trade it for anything else.
Does anyone else have experiences with vintage selmers they'd like to share?

Does a Signet count?
I've played a friend's Selmer Signet. Wow. Might've been made in the USA but quite an exceptional horn. To say it has a bright and warm sound is an understatement. This horn can lull an audience to sleep or put them on the edge of their seats. It's that versatile. _________________ JP

Blessing?
Whatever floats your boat. The newer ones are crap IMO. Wouldn't touch them with a 20 ft pole _________________ JP
