Great video...thanks jules! I find it funny how Charlie is smokin' away in the beginning while Prez (or is that Coleman Hawkins?) is soloing. Did ya see the look Bird gave Prez (or Coleman?) when he took the second solo...almost like, "Yea, you're good but watch this..." LOL! Buddy looks like he's having fun!

Question: In the second song, who is the other tenor player next to Lester?...I liked his solo and his sound a lot!

I'm relieved its not just me who wasn't sure if the first guy was prez or hawkins.... looked like hawknis but I thought it sounded morel ike prez

A great video. The beginning particularly is superb and very funny. I have to thank Jules for pointing out this, as well as the dailymotion site. There are hundreds of great jazz videos there.
